Board Treasurer of Estrella Warbirds Museum
Cindy was born in Kansas, and has lived in California since she was three. Her father was in the Airforce and he flew the C-47 Skytrain in what he called the “milk-run” during his stint in the Military. The family relocated to the Santa Maria Valley in the early 1960’s when her dad began his career as a Civil Service Employee at Vandenberg AFB working on various Satellite Launch programs. Her dad retired from his Civil Service job as a GS16 in 1983. Cindy was raised in Santa Maria, attended Santa Maria High School, and Allan Hancock College. She began her banking career at the early age of 16. She has forty years professional experience in the financial services industry, (23) years in Investments/Securities and (17) in the Banking Industry. Since 2011, Cindy has been employed as a Financial Advisor with Stifel, (an Investment firm based out of St. Louis Missouri founded in 1890) their office is located at 1337 Spring Street, Paso Robles.
Cindy Bergin
Cindy was elected to serve on the Estrella Warbird Museum board in 2018 as Treasurer. She has made her home in the North County for 30 years with the last 20 in Paso Robles. Cindy's husband, Dan, recently passed on. They have one daughter Kimberly, who is completing her second year of Masters Study at San Francisco State University in the Speech Pathology Communicative Disorders Program. Over the years, Cindy has served on many non-profit boards, The Rotary Club of Paso Robles Sunrise, (President 1999-2000) Quota Club of Paso Robles, Trinity Lutheran Foundation Board, and served on the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. During her spare time, she enjoys cooking and entertaining for her family and friends.
Cindy’s interest in EWM peaked after having lived in the North County for the better part of 30 years and had never been to the Museum, until on a whim, she took her dad in 2016. To say the least, she couldn’t believe the size, depth and magnitude of this historical museum in her own back yard. Cindy has a deep love of her country, and is very proud of her community and its alliance in bringing this museum to life. Seeing her father reminisce of working on the craft that he flew during his service to his county, she knew that EWM would be a great place to volunteer. Estrella Warbird Museum is a perfect fit for her volunteer efforts, and she is truly proud to be a member of this team.
