Financial Donations

Estrella Warbirds Museum, Inc., is a non-profit under the provisions of sections 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. Tax ID: 77-0324714. Financial donation may be eligible for deduction on your federal and state income tax returns. Material donations however, we are unable to establish the value of material donations for this purpose. Please consult IRS publication 526 - "Charitable Contributions and/or IRS Publication 561 - Determining the Value of Donated Property." Financial donations to the museum, once accepted, become become sole ownership by the museum as governed by state and federal laws, and as such are not eligible for refund.

Donated Items/Property

All donations become the property of the Estrella Warbirds Museum and are non-returnable. The exception would be any items such as aircraft or vehicles that might be procured through military channels and that become or remain property of the United States Armed Forces under the control of the same, with the museum holding custody of the objects and serving as agents for their receipt.

C-47B Flights

Individual have an opportunity to register to fly on the C-47B aircraft owned by the Gooney Bird Corporation and hangared at Estrella Warbirds Museum. The cost to fly is partial for fuel/expenses and part donation to the museum. As such, when it comes to cancellation of flight,

• Museum Cancellation: Can cancel and issue refund or accept monies as a donation, or reschedule (depending on availability) for weather related and/or mechanical concerns.
• Patron Cancellation: No refunds can be made. Patron may cancel one time but must rebook for next available month’s flight. No exceptions granted.

Major Event Registration

Estrella Warbirds Museum hosts several fund-raising events during the year such as Warbirds Wings & Wheels, Swap Meet, etc., which require pre-registration to include payment for the registration.

• Participation Cancellation: No refunds can be made. Patron may cancel one time but must rebook for next similar. No exceptions granted.

Gift Shop Purchases

No returns nor refunds allowed once the item leaves the property, with the exception of a defective item, which must be exchanged within seven days.
