The recently donated Fouga Magister sports new paint job and Israeli markings.

The French Fouga Magister, CM 170, which was recently donated to the museum by Blythe Montanaro, in memory of her late husband, has been put back together and was repainted in with the Israeli Air Forces markings. Although the plane was originally designed as a trainer, the Israeli's were the first to use it as a fighter jet during the 6 Day War.
A special thanks goes out to the great restoration crew that dismantled, transported and reassembled the plane and especially to Ron Boyt and Gary Corippo for the excellent paint job. For more information on the Fouga Magister and pictures of the restoration process, go Here>

Robert Woodland checks out Arnold Hermanson on the new Sprint Car Simulator

The Woodland Automobile Display Building is hosting a new sprint car simulator. Arriving just in time for the December Dinner meeting, the new simulator gives you the opportunity to see what it was like to race around a quarter mile track while trying to stay ahead of the pack, off the walls and clear of the other race cars. During the month of December, you will be able to test it out for free. A very special thanks to Richard Woodland for his continued efforts in arranging a first class auto and racing display!

It's Big! It's Beautiful!
And... It Glows In The Dark!

The 1943 Burma Jeep was just one of the six vehicles which were decked out with Christmas lights for the Paso Robles Lighted Christmas Parade. This annual event is always a great way to start out the holiday season. Estrella Warbirds Museum is fortunate to have a great vehicle restoration team and a wonderful series of military vehicles that have been restored to original operating condition. They are always graciously received by the public during community events. There were at least twelve museum members who participated, endured the chilly evening, and enjoyed being able to show off some of these wonderful museum assets! For more pictures, Go Here
