You are cordially invited to join the Estrella Warbirds Museum and become part of an active, 500+ member organization dedicated to preserving and presenting aviation and automotive racing history. You need not be a pilot— most of our members are not— but just have an interest in aviation or autos.
Why Me?
While we do not glorify war, we are well aware of the role our military aircraft have played in keeping our nation strong and free and of the contributions to that freedom by the men and women of our armed forces.
In this respect we are proud to have military aircraft, vehicles, and artifacts as the focal point of the Museum, to honor the warbirds and their humans, seal their place in memory, and preserve artifacts for current and future generations.
Essentially we are a social organization and feature many events for and by our members. While we do hope you would become involved with the Museum operations in some way, it is not mandatory. There are excellent opportunities for involvement, to assist in restoration, meeting new friends and establishing long-term relationships.
Monthly Dinner Meetings Typical is the monthly dinner meeting presided over by our President of the Board of Directors and catered by Larry Eastwood/Vic's Cafe. Dinners are preceeded by no host bar, and are followed by an evening of entertainment by guest speakers. Dinners are catered, so we do require reservations so as to prepare the full meal arrangements. Attendance, of course, is optional, but always open to you and your guests.
Regular activities include monthly dinner meetings, aircraft fly-ins, special concerts, an annual car show, golf tournaments, MegaSwap meet, participation in local memorial parades and holiday events. We also have youth education programs, and the Aviation Research library for scholars and historians is now open.
