Photos by Wallace Engle. Great shots from the air! I took my 90 year old step father to your Warbirds, Wings and Wheels Open House and we both loved it! He is a Pioneer Museum Board Member Emeritus and is still a docent. He couldn't stop talking about how impressed he was with your museum. You all deserve a big hand. Thanks, Gary Smith Photographs from Lincoln Frye. Photos by Jim Stainbrook I would like to thank you and every other member that put this show on. My family had a great time, kids especially being able to get their hands on a few of the aircraft there. Again, thank you very much and please pass this on to the rest of your group !! Jason Aschle Hi, we had a great time today, thanks for inviting us. We will definitely be back at next year's event, and hope to bring an airplane or two and maybe do a low pass over the museum. Thanks and see you soon, Brian Chersky Aircrafters Hello, Took some photos today, May 9th, of the car show. Thought you may like to view them. Loren Schwiderski Re: Weekend of the 5/9/2009 Hello, My name is Linda Schmitz. I attended the the show today. I was kindly invited by Arnold Hermansen. Upon seeing the big display today, I had a great feeling of pride whelp up inside me when seeing all the air craft, tanks, and different vehicles of the day, and not to far from today, on the field. To reflect back on all the men and women who served our country, what they gave, what they accomplished for freedom in the USA, and other parts of the world, I was trying to digest it all. Inside the museum,I peered into the glass cases trying to know these heroes, trying understand how it was. The good, bad, and the loss. Seeing the dress code, personal affects, it felt so intimate. I felt like I was looking into their lives. It felt like I could almost hear them. I was truly moved, and am most thankful for ALL the hard work, and dedication to this hero's' place. Linda We attended and exhibited at your show yesterday and we wanted to say thank you for putting on a wonderful show. For your first time out, we both thought it was better than shows that have been ongoing for years. It was easy to resister, loved that you took photos as we drove in, great having the mobile water sales, etc. etc. We were impressed. I'm on the Board of the South County Historical Society, (I've been the Publicity Director for six years) and I know how much work goes into museums and events like this. A+. Thank you. Also, I'm a photographer on the side and very much enjoyed taking photos during the show. Here's a link to my shots if you are interested in using them please do! I just ask for credit and an email mention for the use. Again we had fun, thanks! Oh, we were entry CC 43 and 44, Sam Cotton and Vivian Krug, our photos are first in the photos herein! Let me apologize that my name appears on the bottom corner of the poster and first shots taken by your photographer, the Google Picasa program I use embeds it automatically on anything uploaded. Sincerely, Vivian Krug Here's the link to the individual photos: Here's the link to the slide show and larger photos: Full listing of Sponsors & Contributors! ![]() |
