Warbird Library

The History of Flight is a new addition to the Estrella WarBirds Museum.

The Library began three and a half (3 1/2) years ago when Charmaine Peckinpaugh answered "Yes!" to the question, "Would you be interested in taking on the task of designing and building a Historical/Research Library, up in the loft, for the members of the Museum?"

Pictured here is the team of vonunteers whom have donated time and effort into this g reat project: Left to Right: Assistant Librarians Maria Rice, Wayne

Librarians: Bob Kelly, Ed Morrison, Pam Morrison

On May 9th, 2008, The Estrella Warbird Museum's Library celebrated its Grand Opening. This was the official beginning of limited services by the Library all for the members of the museum.

September 6th, 2008, Charmaine is putting out the welcome mat to all members and special guests, "to come on up!" and look over the incredible number of books, journals, magazines, albums, tapes and DVD, available to read or view at the Library, or check-out and enjoy at home.

Beginning September 6, 2008, all members are invited to visit on Saturdays from the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The check-out period for almost all items will be : two (2) full weeks, Saturday to Saturday.

A special day and time for check out has recently been added to the schedule. Because of the generous offer from Assistant Librarian, Marcia Rice, the Library will be open on the first Wednesday of every month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (prior to the regularly scheduled dinner meeting that night.

We welcome to you the History of Flight WarBird Library!
