Toni Moore was born in Glendale, CA, lived in several San Fernando Valley communities, graduated in 1959 from Glendale High School. She married Kenny in 1961 and has two daughters who have volunteered for the Warbirds, Wings and Wheels car shows.
She worked as a bookkeeper, moved up to Secretary to the General Manager at a large S.F.V. real estate company for 12 years and 11 years as the Administrative Manager for another real estate company in the Valley.
When her husband, Kenny, received a transfer from So. Cal. Gas Co. 1993 to San Luis Obispo, they relocated to Atascadero.
She has an extensive volunteer career, California Mid State Fair starting in 1997 to present in the Home Arts Dept., auditing entries, Judging Clerk and became the Volunteer coordinator. 7 years at Piedras Blancas Light Station, pulling ice plant and restoring native plants, Tour Guide Assistant, establishing the gift shop and she and Kenny were oc
Kenny was invited to the monthly dinner by Betty Miller through his work for E.W.M. by the Central Coast Woodworkers having made mannequin cabinets for Freedom Hall and brought Toni with him. At that dinner she heard about the Woodland Auto Display, her "dream volunteer job". A lifelong open wheel race fan, '50's teenager loving hot rods, drag racing, NASCAR, etc. enjoys talking with visitors to the Woodland Bldg. about the extensive collection.
When Judy Corippo retired from monthly dinner set up and decorating Toni offered to take over. Linda Hermansen moved away, Toni volunteered to take the Gift Shop position.
Toni is willing and able to fill in where needed and looks forward to serving on the Board of Directors of the Estrella Warbirds Museum.
