More About WOODLAND Auto Display

"One of the finest automotive museum in Central California"

Mario Andretti, Bobby Unser with Dick and Claudia Woodland

Mario Andretti, Dick and Claudia Woodland with Bobby Unser at the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame

Expansion happened every year since opening in 2009

Starting with just under 5,000 square feet, we've grown to over 20,000 square feet plus another 5,000 square feet in off site restoration.

  • Numerous well known racing legends have viewed the vehicles and left their mark on this Paso Robles grown establishment.

Just a few are shown below

  • Most of the vehicles on display have been restored to the original condition as they were when first built.

Some of the cars came off the track and required little to no restoration.

This is a unique collection in that you can see, up close and personal, cars which were well known on the various racing circuits.

Just wanted to personally thank you and your wife for having the auto display at the warbirds museum! We have been to the museum numerous times over the years since we visit Paso Robles usually twice a year in our RV travel. This weekend's visit to the museum was a special treat with all the added items in the "Woodland Auto Display" since our last visit to the museum property!
My favorite is the 1970 C30 black rollback truck!!!! Wow - it knocked my socks off - and I'm typically a Ford truck guy!! Secondly was the 1948 Lincoln Continental convertible - also in black & chrome! What a beautiful machine and what style!!
Mike was our docent on this visit - what a guy - what knowledge - what a pleasure! We can't wait to introduce our friends to this auto collection on our return trips to Paso Robles in April and May of 2022!
Thanks again!

What we were expecting was not at all what we got. It was so much more. The displays were very informative and awesome to look at. We didn't get to see it all. It's a lot bigger than expected. Plan on going again in the next couple of weeks.

Estrella Warbird and Auto Museum is THE place to go! Recently hosted a guided tour and flyover for a birthday and it was even better than we could have imagined. Kids and parents both enjoyed every bit. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and extra helpful in helping us execute our day. Letting us use outside space to picnic helping store the cake and everything inbetween. You could spend days here and still find and learn something amazing about the history and events. Definitely a place worth going out of your way to explore!
