History:
This sprint car was built in Phoenix, Arizona. During its' earlier years, it was raced mostly on Arizona and New Mexico tracks. Owned by Bill Lloyd and with Jeremy Sherman as the driver, it won several races at various south-west tracks including the famous Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix, Arizona.

In early 2003, it was announced that Eldora Speedway, in Rossburg, Ohio, planned to hold the richest sprint car race to date with a One Million Dollar purse. Sponsored by Chrysler, Corp., it was to be known as "The Mopar Million." Dick Woodland, Billy Wilkerson, Gale Forester and some other "old" friends discussed it and decided at their age they had no business putting another sprint car team together. Therefore, as this was a history making event, they threw caution to the wind and purchased this Ellis sprint car, with Ron Shaver engines and designated Anne Wilkerson as the owner. Next, they hired a semi-retired sprint car driver who had not been in a sprint car for over two years, Brad Noffsinger.

While this outing did not result in a complete story book ending, they did out-sprint the entire field of 150 entries during the first night of qualifying time trials and qualifying races which placed them in the record book. Their standings placed them on the pole for the start of the Mopar Million main event the next night.

Unfortunately, that Saturday nigh ended up as a case of "brain fade" as blown tires kept them out of the number one spot. However, the nation-wide sprint car community remembers that this "Geriatric" team had been to Eldora and realized what had been accomplished with an 8 year old Ellis race car.

This car was raced on a limited basis until the end of 2007 by numerous drivers which included Damion Gardner, Brad Noffsinger, Billy Rose and Jon Stanbough.
